A passion for design started for Joy’l over 15 years ago while helping with landscape design for a small greenhouse in West Michigan. The relationship between colors, textures and shapes found in nature are an inspiration for Joy’l to create her own unique style and designs.
Joy’l graduated with a B.A. in Communications and began working as a print and multimedia designer. In 2004, a bride-to-be approached Joy’l with a request for a custom wedding invitation, and her design business was born. After five years of designing custom wedding invitations Joy’l’s passion and clientele have grown along with her relationships with other local businesses in the wedding industry.
GRunveiled has been a dream for Joy’l for the last two years. The show captures her excitement to provide local businesses an opportunity to grow while providing clients the personal attention they deserve.
Joy’l lives in Grand Rapids with her husband, Nate. They enjoy spending time with friends and family, eating at local restaurants, and working around the house.
